Classic Southern Mac N Cheese

Classic Southern Mac N Cheese

Hey my loves! I know it’s been a few days but your girl was over here celebrating her 30th B-day. But as requested here is the Mac and cheese I made over on Instagram last week.  I love this recipe even more than my other that includes béchamel sauce (although that one is awesome as well). As always I hope you guys love this one as much if not more than the other recipes you’ve tried.  Please be sure to tag me #trapmarthastewart when you recreate any of my recipes so I can repost them! I’ll be back in your inbox later this week with more holiday recipes so, until then my loves *kisses*

Instructions
  1. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees
  2. In a large pot bring salted water to a boil and cook until al dente according to box directions. Strain and add back to pot and stir in butter and set aside.
  3. Cut all of your cheeses into chunks(mild and sharp cheddar, havarti, and cream cheese) and place in pot with cooked macaroni. In a medium bowl whisk eggs and add milk and seasoning.
  4. Stir together cheeses and macaroni and spread evenly in baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining shredded cheese. Pour egg/milk mixture over top and bake until cheese is bubbling and golden brown (about 40 minutes).
